Is there any way to set Windows 98SE so that it still maintains the Power Management functions (like suspending the HD, video, or system after so much time inactivity) but no longer turns off the PC on Shutdown? I have checked the PC BIOS settings. It only has a setting to turn Power Management on or off. It does not have any "normal" or "enhanced" options.
