John, there might be some special commemoration when Mickey turns 70
or 75, but I don't know for sure other than Disney will certainly
issue press releases to the media about it. For the 60th Disney
really didn't do anything special, other than on the Disney Channel
they had all day programming of Mickey cartoons. This year the
Disney Channel had night-time prime time programming about Mickey
Mouse in honor of the date. I saw your reply late, sorry for the
delay in answering back. To celebrate your wife's birthday, most of
the restaurants will do something a little special for you. I think
they have cakes already made up and the wait staff will gather around
and urge the restaurant to sing "Happy Birthday". Ask ahead of time
when you make your priority seating arrangements at 1-407-WDW-DINE,
and when you arrive tip off the host/hostess and wait person at your
table. Have fun!
