What is amazing to me is the weaponry Hezbollah has.  Cruise missiles,
rockets with a range of over 100 miles?  For a non-state militia?  It would
be as if the Confederate Air Force had functioning weapons to go with their
planes.

What I would like to see is the Israelis reduce Hezbollah to an extent that
the Lebanese Army could take over the border.  The Lebanese government has
ceded that to Hezbollah.

That being said, the Israelis have gone over-board with their destruction
of bridges, apartments, etc.  Their strikes should have been a bit more
surgical.
