There's an extremely old joke about a man hanging a hook over a railway
bridge.  There was a lunatic asylum in the area, 'so this wasn't regarded
as especially bizarre.

A passer-by stopped to talk with the guy.  Feeling sympathetic, he handed
over a small coin.

And said: "Have you caught many?"

"You're the fifth."
