I'm calling a Wildcat BBS which allows me to enter
"!joe nicholson password" and takes me directly to
the QWK door. I enter "U" to upload a reply packet
if I have one. Otherwise, or after upoading, I enter
"D" and "G" and I have my QWK packet and am off in
less than 40 seconds. The "G" lets Wildcat hang up
after it downloads a QWK packet.

When I open the QWK packet in BlueWave, I can scan
to see if there are any new files I might want to
download next time I call (and the routinge above
would be slightly altered). Then I go to the message
section and can leisurely or hurriedly read depending
 on my mood and schedule.

The only thing I can't do using BW on a QWK system is
add and delete message areas to scan. That has to be
 done while on-line.
