It is you that refuses to acknowledge history Rich. We've spent 60 years
propping up dictators that we thought were going to do our bidding and the
welfare of the citizens of their countries be damned. Bush comes along and
refutes that wrong-headed foreign policy, does something about it and you
cry foul, you pine for that despicable status quo, and why?
As far as I can tell, it's simply because you must like the world the way
it was and think it was sustainable in that model, that or you just hate
Bush and would support our endeavor toward freedom for all if only Bush
weren't the President.
I'm sorry if I came across in an irritated manner, it's not directed at you
personally, but I just think it's time we, all of us in the west, got it
together and made it happen instead of constantly bitching among ourselves,
the divided front we've been presenting emboldens our enemies and makes the
goal that more difficult to achieve.
