I started reading them when they were in the small booklet form like the
WW2 "our lads beat the nazis/japs" comics.

It's odd that in 2006 we are firmly in 2000AD. Read Dredd & every
"pro-security argument" which are made wrt databases & the
gov have already been hashed out.
