That's because they come slithering around asking what we want for our own
backyards instead of what's right for the country and we (meaning, mostly
local politicians) say "we want this, that, and the other thing;"
then both the national and local guys tout how good they are for
"us" and the average Joe Six-Pack sez, hmm that guy did get this
and that, eh, I'll go with what I know...
