subject: CD-RW good.

->
-> With this new Thinkpad, I can now read the RW, Tom ! Some old
-> CD-ROM are not up to the task. I had a TP that would make one
-> mad as it would stutter on CD-R even RWs. I only would read the
-> commercial CDs. I had no problem loading Win95 on it. It was
-> used by my niece who was doing translation and it would hesitate
-> on the databank of word equivalent. These CDs were not well
->         done.

 I don't recall when the CD drives would reliabibly read CD-R's and
CD-RW's(Diffeerned times by the way.
But I have never had a problems with any drive 20X or so and faster
with either CD-R or CD-RW.
