We've tried amnesty before...

I absolutely agree.  The same will happen for Korea when that happens.

Merging two countries the size of the U.S. and Mexico would be orders of
magnitude larger upheavals...  btw, I believe it will happen one day (with
Canada too), but not today, we aren't ready, our economy couldn't take it.
(Our being the collective economy, all 3 countries)
