Yes, but you haven't extended them for a long time.  We, on the other hand,
have admitted many states that used to our principal supply of low-cost and
many times illegal labour.  Portugal, Spain, Italy and now the eastern
states.  That has also resulted in many resident illegals becoming legal
overnight.

The reunification of Germany was not without its upheavals.
