BD>BD> HI, Hap!
BD>BD>BD>HN> Did you do any shooting during Mardi Gras?
BD>BD>BD> Not a frame.
BD>BD>HN> Bummer!
BD>BD> Mainly in the southern part, from Layafette to New Orleans.
BD>HN> Ahh well, too bad for you upstaters .
BD> Not so! A great reason to go elsewhere to party!
HN> Well, did ya go elsewhere and party?
Yeah, the local Applebee's every Thursday (like today) for
happy hour! A local computer crowd has been doing this a
number of years now, maybe 7 or 8.. can't really recall.
BD>BD> I tried to carry in a camera a couple of times but
BD>BD> .. put it away..
BD>BD> .. Discretion is the better part of valor, you know! ;^)
BD>HN> Why? I'd think it would be a good place for [minox]
BD> Uh, the parity of size with suppositories makes the prospect
BD> no more enthusiastic to me, Hap!!!!
HN> Where's your sense of adventure Bob?
Not in the emergency room, for sure!
HN> Have you done any more shooting? How are you liking your new
HN> strobes?
Still doing very little other than the tests done on camera
for my youngest daughter. That little Nikon FM was neato!
The Vivitar 283 was for her, also, to go with that camera.
I liked it so much that I'm looking for one, myself. It is a
lot smaller and lighter, yet has the feel of a solid unit that
I prefer. The newer, mostly plastic, ones may be just as good
but I feel like it's a toy or something.. Just doesn't turn me
 on.
... I went insane trying to take a close up of the horizon.
