Query...
    A few years back, both NAS Dallas and Carswell AFB were slated to be
closed. Instead (from what I understand) they decided to keep Carswell open
and turn it into a Joint Reserve Base for both the air force, navy, army, and
air national guard units assigned to the two bases. If I'm mistaken, feel

to correct me.
    My question is, what year did this take place?
