Yeah, like anyone wants to lug shingles up to the roof or maybe you think
Mexico is full of highly skilled crane operators who will work for under
$100/k?

You know what I think, I think more farm workers and unskilled laborers
means more truck drivers will be needed, more managers, more office
workers, etc. I think they have to eat so the stores will sell more goods.
I think they need electricity so more nuclear power workers will be hired.
I think if we allow it a lot of the money these people earn will increase
circulation here in our economy.

We have to grow our economy, not every low pay position can be filled by a
robot. Who is going to fill those positions if we don't import labor? When
I hear people I know telling their kids to go pick produce for a living or
become a hotel maid then I'll accept that we have no place for unskilled
labor importing.

China is roughly the same size as the US with 4X the number of people,
who's economy do you think is going to be more powerful in 10-20 years, us
or china? We better start thinking about teaming up with Canada and Mexico
a bit more or we will soon be irrelevant as a world power.
