A dozen received from US in the past 3 years...eBay HDD's, PCI cards and such,
Not even one was opened by Customs.
What helps here is, the sender uses the universal 'Green" Customs
postal sticker on the package
that states content, value and "gift" if appropriate.
About half had the $5.00 charge applied and the other half were just left
on my doorstep.
This charge seems discressionary. (Postie had a good nights sleep!)
