The wall is about the dumbest idea I've seen US politicians come up with
for years.  You claim to have "beaten" the Soviet Union in the
arms race, yet now you want to recreate its most hated symbol on your own
border.  Those illegals that are in the USA already have families, and
those families willone day want o be reunited.  Family division was one of
the most criticizised features of the Iron Curtain but in the end it didn't
stop people taking enormous risks to get across.  What are you going to do
when people scale the fence?  Fly over it in home-made hot air balloons? 
Tunnel under it?  Are you going to shoot them, like the Soviets did?
