Look, it's really quite simple. OS/2 point software
U/Is are shit compared to any OLR U/I. That's all there is to it, give
or take the odd feature here or there... I can't see why so many
people have such a hard time seeing the gulf between the difference in
quality of most OLR software and shit OS/2 point software.
(Shut up Bill, I don't want to hear for the umpteenth time how you've
reconfigured MsgEd2.2 to emulate OLX's keystrokes! - if OLX was so good
in the first place, then why are you finding yourself needing to copy
part of it's U/I into MsgEd? Sounds like masochism to me! - not to
mention blind zealotry! ;)
BTW, I came across a native OS/2 Squish and MSG messagebase reader
recently, and whilst it's very basic, I think like KWQ/2, it has a lot
of potential. It's only in open beta at the moment, and a few of the
talked about features are still 'greyed out' but it seems useable none
the less, and being fully PM and WPS integrated, its U/I is far
superior... Pity it's taken until OS/2's middle ages (twilight years?)
to come out...
