Fido messaging is always a bit of a bear, even for those of us who run a
local net and link directly to a regional FTP site. But your friend might do
much better if she became a point and used FTN-compatible software. This
business of uploading .QWK packets is a real pain which is why I gave it up 5
yeaes ago.
