Greetings from an ex New Yorker.  Altho it's Steve's home of record for
military purposes, I don't consider it as my home any more.  I grew up
in the Catskills and went to college at Houghton.  Steve grew up between
Albion & Brockport and moved to North Carolina the year before we got
married (in 1975).  Most of our family still live in the state but we
are, thanks to the Army, living in southeastern Arizona.
I've done some quilting but my first crafting love is overall sewing.
Mostly, I make clothes but have done quite a few other projects.  Right
now, my big project is the dresses for my older daughter's wedding.  I
have 2 almost done, 2 more cut out & will probably sew up this week, and
her dress.  I may get her dress cut out ths week also.  The wedding is
at the end of June so I do have time yet.  Hopefully, after things
settle down from that, I'll get to work on the Double Wedding Ring quilt
I've been planning for several years.
I also cross stitch a lot, do other needlework, some German folk
painting and embellish tee shirts & sweat shirts in a variety of
mediums. The only problem I have is finding enough hours in the day to
do things; I'm also active in our church and have to keep the house in a
bit of order. (G)  Have fun getting to know folks on the echo; I've been
here since early 94 and gotten lots of great ideas.
