   When you see the adds on tv you have to wonder what do they all

   really have to offer.  They seem so preocuppied in battling against

   each other and really missing the real point of governing the

   country.  The news this week that Aust is starting to lag behind

   other developed countries, how far does one have to slip before

   someone says something has to be done.  While I'm no Howard supporter

   but the suggestion of selling a third of Telecom to reduce the overseas

   debt does have merit.  By doing this it would have a tremendous boost

   in changing everyones standard of living, for the better.  Allan Jones

   seems to sum the situation well with his daily morning comments.
