 You admit your ignorance then regarding ADD/ADHD but still insist on
 attempting to tell others all about it, what causes it and injecting
 your experience with alcoholism.  No relationship Jane, none, zero,

 There is a health food chain in this area calling themselves "Health
 Quest" who ran for 2 days a radio commercial touting their products
 as being acceptable alternatives for "severe stimulants", "dangerous
 drugs" and parents could "stop giving their children ritalin".  I
 actually went to one of these stores, presented myself as a parent
 with a child who has ADHD and got the full sales pitch, believe me
 that's all it was, a sales pitch.  They didn't have one, not a single
 piece of evidence that stated their products would have any effect on
 anyone with ADD or ADHD.  Nutritional supplements is what they are
 selling that's all.  Over the counter vitamins are just as effective
 and a whole lot cheaper.  Don't push health food stores to me.  Oh by
 the way I also complained about the content of the commercial to the
 radio station playing it and to the local office of the FCC.  Perhaps
 that's why that commercial only ran for 2 days...whatch think
 Jane..were they making patently and provable false claims?

 Jane you don't get it.  This is not a support echo for alcoholics, it
 is not a place where anyone reads to learn about alcoholism.  It is a
 support echo for ADHD, where we share triumphs, sorrows, what works
 and what doesn't for our own unique little hellions.  Take your
 agenda elsewhere ... if you don't mind.
