Hi Vic:
I have a D-Link 604 here. I got a LinkSys first and it would not work with
the cable internet here.
I am pleased with the DL604 and it is configurable through any browser
ADSL or not shouldn't matter. The router is a distribution point, You don't
really need a router, but it is best to have one. the DL604 also has a
builtin firewall.
