RB> The simple test works like this: RS> This is a pathetically useless test to identify scams Dick. RB> would you *buy* the product/service offered by the company RB> even if you weren't in the commission-plan or if it didn't RB> have one!? If yes.. then it's probably not a scam. RS> Pity that EWI fails that test Dick. Its a scam anyway. RB> EWI doesn't fail that test Rod! Fraid so. RB> You told me yourself that you have bought shares!!! Yes. RB> If EWI didn't use NEtwork-Marketing to raise advertising capital then RB> they too would have used the traditional method of a share float etc. And the traditional method of a share float has funky stuff like the issuing of prospectuses which spell out the full detail of the companys financial situation, so you can get a clear idea on just what sort of operation you are considering buying share in actually is. And when EWI doesnt go that route, AND attempts to raise money in Aust to spend in the US, AND uses spivs and con men like you and Chan to do so, the entire thing REEKS of scam Dick. Particularly when the US has even more stringent protection against telling porkys in prospectuses than we do. How amazing that EWI pumps the pockets of extremely stupid Austs instead. RB> Even without being a normal share, there are thousands, RB> perhaps millions of people who will *buy* into such an RB> investment (and who have done and will continue to do)! Fraid not Dick, we have LAWS on attempting to raise investment money like that without the use of a prospectus, even if shares arent involved. And ignorance of THAT law wont help your case when the law comes calling either. RB> Just because you wouldn;'t buy it doesn't mean others wouldn't! You can say that about ANY scam Dick. Yes, like Barnum said, there is atleast one sucker born every minute. Which is part of the reason we have laws which attempt to minimise the chance of spivs and con men to pump their pockets. RS> If someone offered you 15% per month interest on what you RS> deposit, and paid that for some months, it would pass your RS> test, and would be a scam anyway Dick. It is an absolutely RS> classic Ponzi scheme where they fund that 15% interest a RS> month out of the new investors deposits, they cant possibly do RS> that for long, the whole thing implodes in no time. Illegal too. RB> This also seems to be your understanding of EWI. Nope, EWI is different in detail to that particular scheme. Still a Ponzi scheme tho. RB> Before I "bought" such an investment, I would want to know RB> how they are making such huge amounts of interest for me! RB> When I find out that their product is simply shifting money RB> around then there really is no product! So I would not buy it! They are careful to ensure you CANT see thats whats happening Dick. Just like EWI pumps pockets in Aust and purports to be spending the money in the US, where you cant readily check up on their lies. That gives them lots of time to pump pockets here before they bugger off to the Bahamas where even the US authoritys cant touch them. The rest of your juvenalia binned. --- PQWK202* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/809 934 |
