Well, if you strike Alt-F2 in the early part of the boot process while the
white block and "OS/2" are displayed in the top left corner of
the screen, then you will be treated to announcements of the names of
device drivers as they load.  This is very useful for diagnosing system
hangs caused by device drivers, so you can figure out which driver is
responsible.
