I didn't make any remark in the other thread about how the advance
copy had the line "Now stay tuned for three Seth MacFarlane shows"...

But I did tape tonight's encore of Sunday's show, and guess what? The
ending did change! (Not only that, but the timing and placement of the
text changed slightly.)

They all start with "Thanks for 20 wonderful years" of course, but
this time the rest of it reads
"Think of all the important things
you could've done
instead of watching this show"

(Sunday's was "The best is yet to come" - no periods on any of them.)

The opening was the same, and I didn't check the rest but the timings
all match Sunday's.
One wonders what airing #3 (and possibly 4) will say.



(My thought on the MacFarlane joke's omission: I'm on the side of
maybe it was changed because FG and AD wouldn't be on that night. A
similar thing happened with Weird Al's credits reprise in EABF12; the
line was something like "well, as we have time to fill, better go pee
before King of the Hill", but between recording and airing, Oliver
Beene took the 8:30 slot and the "fun on this show/brief cameo" line
was recorded instead. They even had to bring Al back in for it.)
