That's a very good question. The device does have an LCD panel, and
that's where I assumed that this message was being displayed, but maybe
not. OTOH, Google pulled up a message on a Dell forum (Dell markets
relabeled versions of these things too) asking the same question but
with no response.

It might be a normal status message, but I would still have expected it
to be mentioned in the docs. From what I've read in the various docs.
(Sony, Compaq and Dell versions), it's supposed indicate that it's ready
to have the magazine inserted -- but I don't recall the precise wording.
Somebody else told me he knows Sony service people who might be able to
decipher this.
