If you want to use crashmail to get around routing quirks in routed netmail, you really have to make the actual phone call to the destination yourself. Otherwise the sysop of the bossnode wears that direct call for you, however you actually get crashmail to be done by software. RS> Then you can file file attach and freq properly too without getting RS> up the noses of other sysops. AM> Squish doesn't do this either? Again, its more a question of who pays for the phone call than software. Clearly in your case where you have a full BBS config in effect its going to be possible to get whatever software you are using to do that sort of stuff from a direct call from your system to the destination. The reason I suggested FrontDoor instead of using Binkley is that Bink is notorious for shithouse docs and a less than user friendly config anyway. So if you want to do a quick and easy crashmail and FREQ capability its trivial with FroDo, rather more effort to get Bink and whatever to do it, tho obviously doable. --- PQWK200* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 640/305 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
