 They are charged at 25c, but don't do it for normal BBS calls unless you
plan on being online for less than a few minutes.  Nothing will be confirmed
by Optus, but *they* are time-charged by Telstra to use their lines.
 Optus only makes money if the call is less than about 5-7 minutes.  If longer,
you are still charged 25c and Optus has to continue to pay Telstra.

 Any calls that are time charged normally, ie, community calls, interstate &
overseas go via Optus, so these are ok.

 BTW adding 1456 to your dial setup once will do the trick.  For the dial
string "ATDT", replace it with "ATDT1456".  Will
probably save some typing.
