No problem with modern wire - just want the "Y" shape.

Yes, they look like the sort of things they used in the Battle of Britain or
in hunting the Bismarck :-)) They are Hi Z (2 k ohm) so that ties in with the
age as well. BTW, I have some 1936 cans here with original wiring still in
good condition! Reproduction is awful though - LF is about 500 Hz and HF
bout
1.5 kHz!

Yes, understood. I guess I'll cobble something together, but I'd like it to
look as neat as the original wiring.
