I've the old proprietary CD-ROM - SoundBlaster 
running on this 150 watt power supply with a 486 
with 20 meg RAM.
I did burn a previous 150W PS when I added a second hard drive
on my previous machine similarly equipped save but one drive in
this one.
I've got a heavier spare.
I'm sure you're talking PCI though so YMMV.
