of the labor socialist left down the tubes rather spectacularly.

I'm not convinced, sometimes they do get sufficiently pissed off
to do what makes sense, most obviously with Kennett recently.

The Canadians were ever more interesting, took the conservatives
who once even governed federally and reduced them to a rump of
just TWO elected politicians. Ruined the partys day just a tad |-)

We did a similar thing with Whitlam, tho not quite so spectacularly.

Sure, federally they are very close together and it really doesnt
matter too much who wins really. Corse that also means that we might
as well give the other side a go and get some fresh blood and give
the remnants of the unions a good kicking while we have the chance too.
