You might have no problems, and a simple patch cord between the 
line out or headphone jacks and powered speakers' inputs may work.
A technician can safely test the equipment together and find problems
like on and off transients and hum related to power supply filtering
and grounding.
It may be possible to substitute another power supply with a turn-on
delay and good filtering or modify the existing one.  It's possible to
add a dual potentiometer to a patch cord to use a fixed line out with
powered speakers and amplifiers that lack input controls.
