subject: Netmail from address

Hello g00r00,

After reading Bens post in the MYSTIC echo I took a walk through my netmail
area to see what I could see. When I recieve routed netmail in FSX_NET the
message always displays the netmail from address as expected. When I recieve
routed netmail from my NC the from address always displays From: 1:153/7715,
the address that I recieve net/echomail mail from him. When I hit "R" to
reply to that netmail the To: address is always filled as it should be, so
this seems to me to be cosmetic.

I also have a routed netmail that I recieved from 1:261/38, and it does the
same thing, the header when reading that message says From: 1:261/38 but when
I reply to that message the to address is filled in with the address of the
node who sent that message. Those pkts were created by Squish and BBBS
respectively. I wonder if it could be related to the pkts created by those
packages.

I don't get a lot of routed netmail so I don't see that often and consider it
a cosmetic thing. I think Ben is the EList Keeper and very likely recieves a
lot of routed netmail though and it might take him by surprise.. :)

 Ttyl :-),
         Al
