Like I said, I've used it more than once... with enough success that I was 
pleased with the results
 CG> Is it the size of the grains? The shape of the grains? Is there some 
additive (quicklime?) Is it the price?
The concrete, itself, leaches lime... (and since most herbs prefer alkaline 
conditions, that may not be all bad   :)   but if there *are* additives, 
these may affect your plants and could even prove harmful to their growth.
