EO>Hoping for rain, down here. We're still qualifying as a "desert" if you

Sheesh... We've had -one- thunderstorm for the month of April, and May has
been dry thus far. When I hit San Antonio three years ago, you could watch
the wall of water from mid-May/early June thunderstorms walk across the
highways and hit the building I was working in then. Daily, if not four
times in a day. News reports included the fool who tried to drive through a
low water crossing, had to be rescued by the city emergency folk, and took
off running when they tried to hand him the $400 Rescue Billing. Turns out
he'd jumped probation and didn't want to be identified...
SD> We're web-footed and my husband is currently looking for a goat to

If you can't find a goat, try a sheep. (Grin)
SD> We've been doing a water-cycle unit study. This unusually wet weather
SD> has enhanced the studies. (You've GOT to look at the positive. The
It has also encouraged sitting indoors, making teaching easier. How's
"Spring Fever" there?
SD> next unit study planned is Indians. We won't practice the Indian rain
SD> dances!)
Plan your family vacation for this part of the SouthWest... Practice your
rain dances down here!! (chuckle) We'll take all the help we can get --
stage three, mandatory water conservation...
