Welcome to the "newer" world of OOP.  Oh, and Merry Christmas, too.  Having 
said that, let's see what we can do.
Please describe for me in more detail what happens on your form.  From what 
you wrote, I've never experienced such difficulties.  I am _not_ the expert 
in VFP that many others are, however, and it could be that I've not tried the 
same things you are attempting.  I _would_ look to the properties of your Add 
button and see what you've given it.
Perhaps on of the reasons I haven't encountered this difficulty is because 
I'm using someone else's classes -- not those out of the box.  YAG and the 
folks at Flash Management have really done it right, I believe.
