     I write in Clipper but have come to the realization that most of
what I write will be used in Windows. When I use a DOS window to program
and take it into VM I don't have the conventional memory errors. I also
have told people running in straight DOS that they may have to include
this line in their CONFIG.SYS file
FILES=150
BUFFERS=99,0
Also to decrease the number of the #define's in your program why don't
you write a .CH file that holds them then you can just use one
#include command
