drive a car out to the impact site, followed by an escort of MPs. They
are stopped by gaurds who are still posted. On arrival, they see a
small containment of debris, which Rickett is allowed to examine & to

 Sherrif Wilcox, wondering what is happening at the debris field, sends
two more deputies out. This time, they run into Easley's MPs & are
turned back. No unauthorized personel are being allowed onto the crash
site.
