-> Mike did a lot of re-rigging on his boat. Virtually every line runs

Dan: I actually should have all the hardware necessary to rig the
halyards so that it can be sailed single-handily. It will take about an
hour to mount and fasten the hardware.
-> I take it that your boat is trailerable. If so, there may be a way
-> to rig it so that you could step it yourself....
Yes, it is trailerable, and stepping the mast is the BIGGEST problem.
Although the mast is slightly over 50 pounds, and I can almost fully
position it myself, I need a second person to haul up the final few feet
and to attach the bow stay. I could probably step it and use a second
winch to haul up the mast myself. The mast is about thirty feet with VHF
antennae included. I position the boat and loading ramp so that the mast
is stepped on the shore. I find it easier than trying to step the mast
while in the water. I also want to get a six foot ladder for climbing in
and out of the boat on land, otherwise it is very awkward to climb onto
the boat on the trailer.
