In March, Dietmar Hopp from the CureVac Aktiengesellschaft Tbingen said they
rejected an offer over 1 billion US dollars to exclusively provide the vaccine
to the United States if they find one.

Merkel was in quarantine in 2020 due to being in contact with someone who's
infected. Trump already avoided shaking her hand in 2017.

Trump did not shake her hand at the funeral in December 2018.
Nancy Pelosi got close to someone who is infected and Trump did not shake her
hand in February.

In March Trump said "You can't be a politician and not shake hands".
