This American understands it quite well. It is apparent neither you nor
John does however. That is excruciatingly apparent when John says that N.
Ireland is not part of the United Kingdom and apparently you agree. You
then compound his mistake by making a distinction among "England /
Great Britain / United Kingdom"
that in fact exists only in part, i.e. England on the one hand and Great
Britain/United Kingdom on the other.
What does that say about New Zealanders and Canadians; that neither seems
to understand it? It is you and John who need to prove you understand it.
