Thanks for the feedback.
I put in the change into the CDDRV.INF file as noted:
LITE-ON "DVDRW SOHW-1693S" KS0A "LITE-ON DVDRW
SOHW-1693S" N/A
cdatapi ATAPI CUESHEET LITE-ON_DVDRW_SOHW-1693SK
Column aligned as appropriate.
Alas no change in messages. And the system still seems to be broken.
I've triple checked the capitalization and spelling on the line. I do not
see any typos.
My existing Yamaha 2100S is not in the INF file at all. And its worked
for years. Perhaps I need to add it anyway?
Any other suggestions?
