-> DN> Not yet. O'Donnell was a very good QB.
->
->Hold it, Dave, let's take a look at this one. When O'Donnell, who
->had more years of playing under his belt than Stewart did, made
->that start against Dallas, he was 13 of 26 and was sacked 9 times.
->Pittsburgh had all of 126 total yards that game (55 rushing, 71
->passing). Stewart was 13 of 28 and was sacked 3 times. Pittsburgh
->had 174 total yards (85 rushing, 89 passing).
I'm talking about the years he was here, not one game.
->O'Donnell was isolated by a far more conservative offense and was
->never a very good QB. He was a product of the system and it's only
->a matter of time before Stewart learns to use the system.
Actually, Pitt was beginning to develop an outstanding passing game when he
left the team, and were starting to put up more points to go with that
always stellar defense.
I really don't know how you can say Kordell is already a better QB than
O'Donnell he's started 2 games in the NFL. I think he has more potential
than O'Donnell though.
Of course it's only a matter of time before Kordell learns. But until he
actually HAS learned, don't go around saying he's already better than
O'Donnell.
