Because Otto isn't a real veteran himself and because he's far too stupid
to comprehend it he can't possibly understand how insulting and morally
deficient it is to pretend to be a war veteran. He can't get that it steals
from someone else's courage to falsely claim sacrifices that one never did
that true veterans did do.
