*Very* roughly.  It's more like a 20-25km radius.  In fact, the BCC
administers the largest single area in the world.

Logan City Council has this service too (six-monthly), and I believe that
the Gosford City Council also has quarterly direct debits for their rates. 
Seems that many councils are finally moving into the '90s...
