Follow me on this exercise... click on the main T-bird menu item
"File".  Click 'Open Saved Message'; in the bottom-right of that
window, change 'Mail Files' (type) by clicking on the [down arrow] beside
it, and change it to "All Files".  From there, navigate to the
drive\directory\file that you want to grab text from.  Your requested file
then opens in its own windowed box.
