Greetings Steve and Michiel. 1:397/5258 just recently joined this echo (after the message(s) referred to above). As someone who has been in fido since the early '90s, AND works in a public library with both Gates Foundation Grant public access computer, and in-house produced public access computers, the above content caught my attention. Could you recap the discussion on this thread that I missed? I might have some ideas or comments in this area. Thanks! As for the message's subject; I used to say that I intended to be the last node in fidonet; but since the growth of fido in russia, I may have to settle for the distinction of being the last fido node in zone 1. ;-) --- Maximus/2 3.01* Origin: McAllen Memorial Library BBS (1:397/5258) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 397/5258 1 106/1 379/1 633/267 |
