Thank You!, I am not real familiar with Linux but I have tinkered with it
once in a while since U'u 7.04 .
I don't have any problem using dd in the U'u Terminal as I'm still use
CMD a lot on this XP box. (I started out learning CBM BASIC on a C=64)
I will try dd to do the job with my two USB HDD Adapters.

I have a U'u 10.04 LTS ISO I can RUN in a VM, so I will try using dd that
way.
I did try a few days ago to see if I could run the Acer Recovery CD
in U'u 10.04 and fix the old HDD but I ran out of time and had to shut the
computer down that night.
I am a Very Trying Person, just ask my wife.
If I can't get dd to do the Dirty Work, I WILL send both drives down South
to You to let You play with them on a very low priority basic, of course.
