Depends on weather or not he includes an alternative,
I'd ask him first. Vimage is darned handy just now
though I need to look into upgrading my graphics drivers
some time or other.
I'm about ready to bother Mr. Darnold a second time
and ask where to look to make an entry in .email.conf recognised
for my user name and password as is required by Verizon,
my current but sooon to be ex-ISP.

The only one _heard_ so far.
I've no objection to that being offered as an option or
add on but as the default I must say NYET.

Try this, something I've recently discovered.
I ran either telnet or scan into outgoing.verizon.net,
change to your SMTP setting, and got the DNS, plugged 
"scan" ????.????.????.???? and Basic Linux started at 255
working on downwards identifying each and every available port!
Neato though now I need to read up on scripts to take that and
direct the output into a file. Yes port 25 comes up
.email.conf's default SMTP, identifies itself
as such and proclaims it "open",  but that still doesn't
tell me what to do about getting mail out.
