I came a little late to this party and usually skim the topics being
discussed in here... "Antec" in the subject line caught my eye - I
sell a lot of Antec gear.

Reading back to the messages of March 6, I can see you're talking about
the CiDesign external SCSI case with a proprietary power supply... I
took this topic up from the point Don mentioned the Antec Power Supply
tester - and since it is ATX, made the assumption he was testing an ATX
power supply.

My bad.

That said... I understand we're working on a budget here, but after 10+
failed hard drives, we're well past the tipping point where there would
be a return on invested time, money and energy in mounting all these
hard drives in any old gutted PC tower with a working, tested PSU and
connecting them to the PC with an external SCSI cable... no? Many
cases had knock-outs for external cable connections of this variety,
and I've seen more than one design for an internal-to-external adapter
for a SCSI cable that fits in a regular PCI slot bracket.

No cash? Time for a Red Green solution with duct tape! :-D
